Apply to the Prevention of Violence Against Aboriginal Women Fund

This funding is for projects designed to prevent violence against Indigenous women in the Yukon.

The deadline for 2023–24 applications has passed. We typically announce the annual intake in the spring.

Eligibility

  • Your project must be community-based.
  • Your project must focus on preventing violence against Indigenous women.
  • Indigenous women in the Yukon must design and develop your project.
  • This fund is available to Yukon registered societies and Yukon First Nations.

Apply for funding

  1. Download and complete the application package. 
  2. Contact a fund advisor for more information, They can also support you with your application.
  3. Complete your application and submit it by email to the fund administrator. You must submit by the posted deadline.
  4. Funding decisions are made within 30 days of the deadline. We will notify all applicants within 30 days of the funding decisions.
