Good Energy Providers
This is a list of local providers offering services or products that qualify for our Good Energy rebates. Listed are:
- contractors;
- suppliers;
- consultants; and
- businesses.
Better Buildings program
Get funding to complete residential or commercial building energy upgrades
You can get low-cost funding under the Better Buildings program. This will help you pay for qualifying energy upgrades to your residential or commercial building.
ZeroPath rebates for new home construction
Get $10,000 when you construct an energy-efficient new home that performs 60 per cent better than the 2015 National Building Code.
Get $5,000 when your newly constructed energy-efficient new home performs 50 per cent better than code.
Peak Smart Home rebates
Get 75 per cent of purchase and installation costs up to $750 per home.

- Peak Smart Home Hot Water Tank Controller and Leak Detection
Get 25 per cent of purchase and installation costs, up to $250 per home.
- Smart Thermostats
Commercial energy rebates
Get a rebate on energy-efficiency upgrades.
For:
- commercial;
- institutional;
- community
- First Nations government-owned; and
- municipal buildings.
This rebate is now fully subscribed. We are no longer accepting applications at this time.
Insulation and air sealing upgrades
Get money back when you add insulation to your walls, foundation or attic.
You can get:
- up to $12,000 for insulating above-ground walls.
- up to $12,000 for insulating below-ground walls.
- $2,500 for insulating the attic.
- $2,000 for insulating slabs or floor systems.
- $5,000 for air sealing your home.
Heating systems for existing homes
Get up to $8,000 for installing a heat pump in an existing home.
Low-to-median-income households that install a qualifying heat pump can apply for the Affordable Heat Pump Program for a higher rebate amount.
You can also get from $300 to $800 for installing a wood-based renewable heating system.
Heating systems for new homes
Get up to $1,500 for installing a heat pump in a new home.
Heat pumps are an efficient way to heat a well-insulated new home.
Window upgrades
Get $120 back per window when you upgrade to ENERGY STAR® windows.
You can get up to $1,800 per existing home.
Heat-recovery ventilators
Get $750 back when you install an HRV in your existing home.
You can get an additional $750 for adding interior ducts for the HRV.
Energy assessments
Find out how to increase the energy efficiency of your home.
Pay a reduced fee when you have an energy assessment done on your home.
Solar hot-water rebate
Get 20 per cent of your material costs up to $1,200 when you install a solar-thermal domestic hot-water system.
ENERGY STAR® appliances
Get $100 to $300 off the cost of new ENERGY STAR appliances.
Check out qualifying appliances:
- fridge;
- freezers;
- dish washers;
- clothes washers; and
- ventless dryers.
Fridge retirement
Get $50 for your old refrigerator!
We will pick it up and dispose of it for you too!
Drain-water heat recovery
Get $150 when you install this energy saving device
A drain-water heat recovery unit preheats your incoming water using the heat from your shower drain.
