MINFILE is a database that lists mineral occurrences of interest in the Yukon. It contains geological, location and economic information for each mineral occurrence, including:
- status;
- location;
- deposit type;
- commodity; and
- work history.
The Yukon Geological Survey manages MINFILE.
Add or update a mineral occurrence
You can add a mineral occurrence in MINFILE or update an existing one.
- Fill out the MINFILE input and update form.
- Submit the form to the Yukon Geological Survey:
