Yukon and Quebec governments invest $100,000 to support initiatives that promote the vitality of the Yukon Francophonie in 2020–21.
We help communicate the Government's initiatives to improve access to services in French and engage with stakeholders on the identification of priorities. We also support the federal/provincial/territorial agenda and participate in the Intergovernmental Network on the Canadian Francophonie.
We provide financial management and analysis. We negotiate and manage the Canada-Yukon Agreement on French-language services and report to the Government of Canada. We also support and advise on the identification, recruitment and staffing of new and existing designated bilingual positions.
We provide guidance, support and training to the Government of Yukon’s departments and crown corporations pertaining to the active offer, delivery and promotion of French-language services.
