We’re holding a land lottery for 43 lots in Haines Junction, in the Dhäl Ghą̄y/Mountain Ridge subdivision. 

The lots available are: 

  • 37 single family lots; and
  • 6 duplex lots.

Deadline to apply 

You must submit your application by Friday, October 2, 2026, at 4:30 pm. 

Prepare your application 

  1. Download and complete the lottery application form
  2. Provide the required documentation as listed in the application package. 
  3. Include a non-refundable application fee of $26.25 and a $300 deposit that will be returned if you are not offered a lot.

Draw date 

The lottery results draw will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. We’ll livestream the draw online for public viewing. Check back for details closer to the draw date. 

The lottery results will be posted here by October 9. 

If you’re selected for a lot 

If you’re selected in the lottery, we’ll notify you. You’ll have 24 hours to accept the lot. If you do not accept within 24 hours, we’ll offer the lot to someone else. 

If you accept the lot, you will have 14 days from when we notify you to: 

  • pay the required minimum down payment; and 
  • enter into an agreement for sale with us.

Requirements for ownership 

If you sign an agreement for sale, you must meet the contract requirements to take ownership of the lot. 

You must: 

  • build within 5 years; and 
  • pay for the lot in full.
