We’re holding a land lottery for 7 lots in Whistle Bend. To enter the lottery, you must be:
- a builder; and
- approved by the Yukon Contractors Association.

Deadline to apply
You must submit your application by Friday, July 24 at 4:30 pm.
Prepare your application
1. Download and complete the lottery application form.
2. Provide the required documentation as listed in the application package.
3. Include a non-refundable application fee of $26.25 payable by cheque, cash, debit card or credit card.

Submit your application in person at:
- Elijah Smith Building 300 Main Street, room 320 Whitehorse, Yukon Y1A 2B5
- A Compliance, Monitoring and Inspections office
Draw date
The lottery results draw will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 2:30 pm. We’ll livestream the draw online for public viewing. Check back for details closer to the draw date.
If you’re selected for a lot
If you’re selected in the lottery, we’ll notify you. You have 24 hours to accept the lot. If you do not accept within 24 hours, we’ll offer the lot to someone else.
If you accept the lot, you have 14 days from when we notify you to:
- pay the required minimum down payment; and
- enter into an agreement for sale with us.

Requirements for ownership
If you sign an agreement for sale, you must meet the contract requirements to take ownership of the lot. You must:
- build within 3 years; and
- pay for the lot in full.
