The Working UP program helps Yukoners build the skills they need to get a job or move ahead in their career. You can get financial help to improve your reading and writing, finish high school, gain work experience or complete your apprenticeship training.
The Working UP program provides financial support to help you:
- improve your literacy skills;
- complete or upgrade your high school education;
- increase workplace skills and experience, including support for registered apprentices; and
- build essential skills that help you find and keep a job.
This program supports Yukoners who are not eligible for Student Financial Assistance funding, such as the Yukon Grant or the Student Training Allowance.
There are 3 different pathways for Working UP funding:
- Skills for Success
- Apprenticeship Training Support
