Eligibility
You must be:
- a Yukon high school graduate;
- a Yukon resident:
- you must be legally entitled to remain in Canada; and
- a resident of Yukon (someone who makes their home and is ordinarily present in Yukon).
- attending aviation-oriented technical training.
Amount
$100 is awarded annually to 1 student.
Deadline
September 30 for the following academic year.

Go to the Student Financial Assistance portal
- Visit the Student Financial Assistance login webpage. There, you can login with your user name and password to start your application.
- If you don’t have a user name and password, visit the Student Financial Assistance Registration webpage and register.
- You must download and complete the Yukon Student Financial Assistance Student Declaration form.
- Provide your final high school transcript or post-secondary transcript for any other year.
- Submit the completed forms.

When will you find out about your application?
Applications will be reviewed in the fall. Successful applicants will be notified by December. If you’re a successful applicant, we'll send you a letter indicating how much you'll receive to:
- you; and
- the post-secondary institution you are attending.
We’ll then mail a cheque in your name to the financial aid office of the institution you’re attending.

Report your scholarship on your tax return
You must report the Nicholas John Harach Scholarship you received on your tax return. We’ll send a T4A to the permanent address you provide in your application.
If you have not received a T4A for the previous year by February 28, phone 867-667-3555.
