Canada’s Premiers have launched a podcast about new and cutting edge practices in mental health and substance use. Led by the Premiers of Yukon and Saskatchewan, the initiative is called Promising Practices. With input from all provinces, territories and the Council of the Federation (COF) Secretariat, the goal is to encourage innovation and collaboration between governments and non-governmental organizations. Each episode features innovations in rural, remote and northern communities from across the country.

The series will run between March and June 2021. It is available at canadaspremiers.ca or on Apple , Spotify and Google podcasts.
The 1st episode features an inside look at Yukon’s Mental Wellness and Substance Use Hubs, a collaborative program with Yukon First Nations partners, communities and citizens. The goal of the program is to ensure Yukoners access the help they need, wherever and whenever they need it most.
