Zoning amendment applications

Property owners can apply to amend their zoning. The amendment process includes an opportunity for public input. Cabinet considers public input when deciding to approve the amendment or not.

Some development zones contain discretionary land uses. The application process includes an opportunity for public input. Discretionary land uses are only allowed at the development officer’s discretion, after considering public input.
