Keno Hill silver district mining: licensing documents

The Keno Hill silver district operation is a silver-lead-zinc mine. It's located 50 kilometres northeast of Mayo and 3 kilometres east of Keno. Bellekeno began producing ore from long-hole stopes in 2011. Elsa Reclamation and Development Company Limited, a unit of Alexco Resource Corporation, owns the former assets of United Keno Hill Mines. This company is responsible for the care and maintenance of the properties and the eventual reclamation and closure of the sites. Alexco Keno Hill Mining Corporation, a separate subsidiary of Alexco Resource Corporation, is responsible for mineral extraction.
