Proposed planning schemes are zoning regulations that you must follow if you want to subdivide a lot in the area they apply to. Despite the term ‘proposed’, these schemes are in effect and apply by law.
Your lot subdivision application must follow local area plans, zoning and other plans that apply to your area.
