New online licensing system coming soon

We're moving to an online licensing system to make the renewal process more efficient and move away from paper forms.

We ask you not to renew until the new system is in place. We'll email registrants when the new system is launched and support you through the process.

Renew a chiropractor licence

  1. Determine if you're eligible
  2. Complete the renewal application form
  3. Provide proof of continuing competency requirements
  4. Provide all other supporting documents required
  5. Pay your fees
  6. Submit your complete renewal application package

  1. Determine if you're eligible

All chiropractors working in the Yukon must register, hold a licence and renew it every year.

A chiropractor licence allows you to use the title doctor of chiropractic and work to the full extent of Yukon regulations.

    Renewal period

All chiropractor licences expire annually on March 31. Submit your renewal application before March 1. This will ensure we can process your application before your licence expires.

It's illegal to work in the new licence year before we have processed your application.

You're eligible to renew your chiropractic licence if you:

    • are registered and hold a current licence in the Yukon as a chiropractor; and
    • have met all continuing competency requirements.

If you’ve had any complaints, disciplinary or criminal action against you:

    • we will assess your eligibility for registration or licensure on a case-by-case basis; and
    • you may not be approved for registration or licensing.

  2. Complete the renewal application form

Please see note at the top of the page about our new online licensing system coming soon.

  3. Provide proof of continuing competency requirements

Read the continuing competency guide for full instructions, details and examples.
