Open a food business

When you open and run a food business in Yukon, your business has to follow the:

• Eating or Drinking Places Regulations; and
• Food Retail and Food Services Code.

Before you apply

Gather the following documents to include in your application:

• your menu; and
• a floor plan (if not a mobile food premise).

Prepare your application

1. Download and complete the:
   • application for a permit to operate a food premises; and
   • water supply, garbage and sewage disposal.
2. Add you menu and floor plan to your application.
3. Submit your application.
