Change your society's bylaws

If you want to change your society’s bylaws, you'll need to pass a special resolution (subsection 19(3) of the Societies Act) and file your new bylaws with the registrar (paragraph 19(4)(2)of the Societies Act).

If your society has not transitioned

If your society has not transitioned to the new Societies Act, you can file your new bylaws with your transition application.

If your society has transitioned

If your society has already transitioned to the new Societies Act, you can change your bylaws by submitting a change to bylaws form.
